The 66th annual Tony awards took place on Sunday night at New York’s Beacon theatre, with bar-room musical Once picking up eight prizes from 12 nominations and British comedian James Corden nabbing the best actor gong from under the nose of Philip Seymour Hoffman for his role in One Man, Two Guvnors.
